How to Ditch Your Fairy

See the full ranking

Charlie is fourteen and has a fairy. Everyone does. Some people get useful fairies, like ones that make you good at sports or help you find money on the street. Charlie's fairy makes sure she never has to stand in line. Which doesn't sound so bad, until Charlie realizes that her fairy is ruining her social life. She can't go to the movies with her friends because she never has to wait in line—and they do. She can't go to the mall because she just walks right in while they're stuck outside. Her fairy has made her a loner and a freak. So Charlie decides to ditch her fairy and get a better one. But it's not as easy as she thought. In fact, it might be impossible.
